Overcoming barriers when living independently with physical limitations or a criminal record is extremely difficult. Living with physical limitations can present unique challenges in daily life. Challenges vary based on the type of disability, such as difficulty communicating, or difficulty with mobility. Each challenge restricts the ability to maintain a job or find affordable housing. Obstacles as such lead to desperation.
Infinity Gardens is a non-profit organization focused on assisting disabled individuals and previously incarcerated individuals to become self-sufficient. We offer affordable and supportive housing and connect individuals with supportive services and resources to help our residents succeed.
We have modeled our services to support individuals living with a disability, looking to live and work independently, and former inmates with a safe and stable place to live as they work to achieve self-sufficiency. We offer scattered-site housing, and private and semi-private rooms located in residential houses, throughout Houston and surrounding areas. Residents sharing common areas, kitchens, and bathrooms at each site are designed to promote a supportive living environment where residents can connect and build relationships. Rent is based on the resident’s income and/or eligibility for rental assistance. Our residential housing is designed to assist clients with getting acclimated to daily routines and healthy financial habits.
Infinity Gardens emphasizes are to build a sense of community among our residents. Helping our residents successfully realign themselves with the community. By providing safe and stable housing, along with supportive services, we are doing our part to give residents the resources they need to succeed with a promising path forward.
